I grew up always believing that I was a protestant christian, after all we were not Catholic or Jewish. So when someone asked , I said yes I was a christian. I knew that Jesus was the Son of God, that he was born a baby in a manger, that he died on the Cross for us so we could go to Heaven.
When I was 21 I heard an evangelist explain that it wasn't enough to know who Jesus was. You need to invite him to be your personal savior. To forgive your sins and to invite him into your heart. So I said okay, and said the sinner's prayer and raised my hand and I was saved.
My journey from there began with learning the bible and going to church. In 1988 I was invited to go to a prayer meeting by a customer of mine. God made a way for me to make it to that prayer meeting, and I can truly say that prayer meeting was a tipping point in my life. It was the first time I had received personal prophecy. My heart knew that I was loved by God. There was such a shift in my heart that I began to pour out my love for him, and he poured into me.
Throughout my Jesus journey father God gave me wonderful mentors who walked me through learning to operate in the gifts of the spirit, what a personal relationship was with Jesus, not just a knowledge of Jesus. I began to have confidence in God's voice to use me as he desired.
One of my hearts desires was to sing for Jesus. I went to a special service to hear an evangelist/prophet. He gave me this word, "you are going to sing the song of the Lord". Of Course I was so excited it was my hearts desire. I began to sing, however when I sang to my daughter she put her hand over my mouth and said mommy please don't sing. My husband heard me and said, are you sure God said you were to sing, your voice is very wobbly. I joined the worship team, they shut off my microphone. I joined a worship group, they asked me to leave. I was not going to give up. I had a prophetic word that I was going to sing the song of the Lord. God opened the door to sing at a rest home every Sunday. He opened the door to go to the rescue mission once a month. Little by little I improved. Now I sing the song of the Lord over nations that I visit, and praise God they don't throw rocks at me. I sing the song of the Lord at Mountain Of Mercy. They ask if I have a CD they can buy. So hanging on to the prophetic word brought about the song of the Lord in me. I learned that if God said it, believe it, no matter what man says. I sing in my heavenly language mostly, sometimes God gives me interpretation, but many times the hearer gets the interpretation.
As I was ministering to rest homes and the mission, the elders of my church decided I should be ordained a lay minister. A few years later one of my mentors needed an ordained minister to join their board and establish their church. They ordained me as a minister. After traveling as an evangelist for several years in the states, I was encouraged to start my own ministry. Light House Ministries ordained their ministers who were starting their own ministries as Bishop. So the title Bishop was given to me. At that time I remembered thinking whatever your will is Lord you know my future. Glory to God, in India, Africa and Pakistan the title Bishop carries weight and opens doors. Once again God knew what he was doing.
I moved to WEOTT, Ca. in 2002. Sept 11th our house closed escrow. I had retired for the first time. I just finished cleaning my home, I sat down looked over the house and said "Lord I know you have more than this for me". The next day I got a call from Donna Gift, I asked her if she was still going to India every year? Yes we leave in January, would you like to go? Of course I said I would pray about it. I hung up the phone and God said, I just answered your prayer, call her back.
Since that time, I have taken teams to India 5 times, Gone to the Philippines, Canada Twice, Japan, England, Pakistan, and Rwanda several times. Our home has hosted people from around the world as well: Denmark, Libya, India, Philippines, Kansas, Canada, Nigeria, So many have come and blessed our home.
In 2004 I started going weekly to Mountain Of Mercy Mission Teens. A program for people recovering from life controlling addictions. On the top of the mountain in Honeydew Calif. One of my favorite mission fields. They captured my heart from the first time I went to minister there. Because of my recent move I had to give up my weekly class. I find that I still long to go and share with them. What a joy to see their transformations.
So How did I get involved with Pakistan? I had accepted a friend request from a young girl in Pakistan that ran an orphanage. Occasionally I said hello and looked at her posts. While I was in India, she saw my post and contacted me via messenger. I see that you are in India, will you come to Pakistan? My team and I at the same time said no. But I would be happy to do a Skype meeting with you I said to her. I know that God smiled because that was his plan. She set up a Skype meeting with her brother in-law, pastor Bashir Emmanuel. During that meeting he asked me to pray for the people. As I began to listen to the voice of the Lord for words of knowledge, I prayed and one woman who was blind received her sight.
They had a vision, and needed a face that was foreign. they had been praying and seeking, I was the one they were looking for. So they invited me to do Skype meetings at what they called projector shows. In December of 2014we began our journey. The vision is to go into the brick kiln villages of Pakistan and share the gospel message. The goal being to reach 1000 villages with the gospel, offer salvation, then do baptisms, do bible studies, as well as a day school for the children, and church services if possible.
After the first few meetings with the internet stopping in the middle of the message, and then my needing to remember where I was to continue, we needed a better plan. So began our journey of creating videos. the first done in my living room, uploaded with great difficulty to Youtube. It was on my favorite subject, the God who answered by fire. The camera was good for the laptop, but not for the big screen. So I asked my friend Trent if he would record on his professional camera. The first take I thought was great. He forgot to turn on the camera. Okay take two. That one was a good one but took several weeks, seemed like forever to get it uploaded and sent to Pastor Bashir. He used that one for months. Then asked for another . Our journey to produce videos has been unbelievable. Files got corrupted often, our camera was stolen, videos were taking so long to get to them that everyone was getting frustrated. One recent video that I did on my I-pad recorded in seconds instead of minutes. Then after 10 hours of trying to upload the new version, I discovered a program to shrink them. Only took 30 minutes. I am getting such an education on how to use the computer and technology by trial and error.
In January of 2016 we launched our first television station, a cable network that reaches some of the villages. Of course this meant more videos. I began a daily program "A Time For Grace" it airs two time a day. I am sure the people there have memorized the messages as they keep repeating over and over. They use every video I send no matter what the purpose of the video is. Thank God they are able to record many pastors there and some of the ladies are doing a talk show now. With 24/7 coverage we need more content. On January 28th this year we launched the second station with an audience of over one million, once again to the villages where they can not afford a full cable network.
One of my favorite project in Pakistan is the SD Card ministry, or as they refer to it memory card ministry. We are able to load three messages, an hour or two of worship, the Jesus Movie, and the entire audio bible in Urdu. The cost is $5.00 each and we are able to give out 4 cards per projector show. It fits in the back of a cell phone and with headphones the people are able to hear the word of God while they work. The good news for us is that many people are able to copy of them. So hundreds are in circulation. As miracles are taking place more and more people are sharing them. Every day pastor Bashir receives phone calls of miracles that God has done through the memory cards. He shares two with me each month or more often if they are significant.
Steve and I went to Pakistan to make sure the work really was happening and to meet the team there. We were there during Easter when the Park was bombed. The terrorist cell had been 20 feet from us the entire time. But God kept us . Three days after the bombing at 3:30 am we heard what sounded like an angry mob breaking down our door, with shouting and gun fire, I hid behind Steve. I then opened up my I-Pad to the bible and read at the very top, I will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on me. I kept repeating that over and over as I waited to find out if they were coming into our room. At 6 am the police came to the house and informed Pastor Bashir that they came to remove the terrorists.

So much more but where do you start.
